My name is Todd Stott, and I am honored to announce my candidacy for the office of Jasper County Commissioner, Precinct 2.
I am a near lifelong resident of Jasper County, having moved here with my parents at a very early age. I am a 1991 graduate of Jasper High School. I have been blessed with a supportive family. My wife, Christie, and I share 13 years of marriage and are proud parents to five children: Caston, Cayne, Izobel, Tyler, and Ryan, as well as seven grandchildren.
Over the past 20 years, I have been employed with Rural Pipe and Supply, where I have gained extensive experience in hard work, responsibility, and a commitment to supporting our local communities. I am a lifelong member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, with additional service in the Knights of Columbus since 2022.
Public service has been a consistent and guiding principle throughout my life. Since 2018, I’ve had the privilege of serving with the Beech Grove Volunteer Fire Department, holding certifications as an Emergency Medical Responder (EMR), Officer I, and Instructor I. I currently serve as Station Captain and Commander of the Honor Guard. In addition, I serve on the Upper Jasper County Water Authority Board, where we have worked diligently to ensure transparency, fiscal accountability, and compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act and the Texas Public Information Act, while overseeing the financial and operational responsibilities of a public utility.
I am seeking the office of County Commissioner, Precinct 2 with a deep-rooted commitment to the sustained growth and prosperity of Jasper County.
Throughout my career, I have dedicated myself to serving our community—whether responding to emergencies, safeguarding water resources, or volunteering in various capacities. I am committed to bringing the same dedication, integrity, and leadership to the office of County Commissioner for Precinct 2.
Respectfully, I ask for your support, your prayers, and your vote as we work together to build a stronger, safer, and more prosperous Jasper County.
Sincerely,
Todd Stott
